probably caught a cold

I felt sores and fever at all of my body from the evening of yesterday I wondered if it was the flu because the symptom was some common points with the flu. People who got the flu have felt body aches and high fever.
First, I took some medicine powder and vitamin C capsules. If I got the flu, these did not work. Second, I took a bath to heat my body. It was better thirty minutes later. So, I realized that it was not the flu but just a cold.

I read old articles on this blog again in the bathtime.
I found that I introduced a funny manga at the end of the last year. I got better after reading it. Laughing makes better.

Yukidaruma Senkin 雪だるま 仙禽

Though I have heard Senkin Yukidaruma in a Japanese bar, I had not looked for that bottle.
A day, I unexpectedly found that bottle in a shop. I wondered if I should buy it. Finally, I bought it. The price of 1 sho (1.8 l) was 3600 yen.
This bottle is shown in this photo. A cute snowman Yukidaruma was drawn on the bottle.

A description was attached on the back as shown in this photo. I think this is patched on every bottle of the Senkin series.

The polishing ratio is 60% and the ABV is 13%. 

The top was covered as shown here. Because this bottle had not been heated, the yeast was yielding alcohol and the gas yet in this bottle. So there was a possibility to break the bottle by carbonic acid gas. A hole was necessary to prevent breaking the bottle. On the other hand, to prevent overflowing the content, a part of a white mesh was put under the hole.

Since this was effervescence, note how open the bottle was attached.

Along with the note, I had put one night in a refrigerator.

I removed the cap.

And pulled it and open it.

But then bubbles did not happen well. The pressure was less than I expected.

The color was not clear and white translucent.

I felt it was really effervescence when I got a sip.
The taste was good sweet. The aroma might be a weak sour of lactic acid but not that of fruits. 
After removing gas, only sweat teste remained.

New glasses I ordered came last week.

That is good.

50-yen coffee

One sip of coffee wakes me up. I often need it.

I usually drip my own coffee every morning to drink it soon and to take it to my office. Today, I also dripped coffee and prepared a bottle filled with it, but I forgot to put the bottle in my bag. So, I could not drink it even if I was sleepy.

Though I usually did not try a vending machine for coffee, I did that today to get coffee. There are some vending machines in our office, and one is to supply a cup of coffee from milling beans.

One cup was 50 yen, and it was super cheap.
It was made for about 20 seconds.
I had a sip of it. The taste was not strange but slightly too strong. The flavor was a deep roast which emits caffeine. That was like espresso.
That was not bad though the coffee I dripped is much better quality.
Good office.

Tully's Kyoto Blend

Recently, I have bought roasted coffee beans from Tully's Coffee Japan.
This retailer stores limited coffee blends and limited specialty coffees.
One is the Kyoto blend. It is sold in Kyoto only.

I bought it when I visited Kyoto.
The package made us a Japanese atmosphere.

The front describes this coffee includes sugary similar to brown sugar which is compatible with elegant Japanese sweets.

The price of 200 grams was about 1200 yen. That was a good price but not expensive.
The color of the roasted beans looked medium as shown in this.

The smell during dripping coffee was beautiful but not strong.

The taste was a center of coffees but not including fruits or cacao flavor.
That was not too strong and not bitter but had feeling caffeine.
After taking a sip, I felt a sweet flavor of the coffee.

Link error about IMAGE::BuildImage

A link error about "IMAGE::BuildImage" suddenly appeared when I built a project after locally updating VS 2019.
First, I checked the dependencies of the project because did not know the error and edited parts of the project. But those did not relate to the error.
Next, asked it to a search engine, and I got one.

The version is not the same as mine but happing is the same. Thanks to these comments, I finally understood where the problem happened; it was Link time code generation. In my case, it set to LTCG: incremental option. I changed it to LTCG, and then, linking got successful.

color measurement by canon eos 5d mark iv

A few months ago, I got a good camera, Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.
Before that, I had used Kiss X7 which outputs raw data as CR2 for reading high-resolution color. I had read data of the format with DCRaw. DCRaw enabled a linear workflow which is necessary to measure accurate color and to analyze properties of reflectance and absorption of the target material.
However, Kiss X7 had a not good point. The results involved noise under dark environments and an uncontrollable filter run.
So, I changed the camera to get quality results. The new one, EOS 5D Mark IV, also outputs the same format name and its sensor is better than the old one.

After playing with the camera for a few days, suddenly I realized a small problem occurred. DCRaw could not eat CR2 of 5D Mark IV validly.

Soon, a solution was simply found.
The LibRaw project, fortunately, provided a new DCRaw emulator which processes CR2 of 5D Mark IV.

I tried it.
The picture style of the camera setting was "Faithful" without tuning.
I took a standard gray chart by x-rite.
The emulator command for the linear workflow was "dcraw_emu.exe -6 -w ***.CR2."
I confirmed that the reflectance points of the standard gray chart were perfectly linear. Good.
After that, I have been able to measure colors completely perfect.

my glasses

After drank a lot of alcohol, I broke my glasses in the bathroom.

I always take my glasses in the bathroom because I cannot detect anything if no glasses. So, it is a ritual to bathtime.
The night, it appeared that I drank much and took my glasses into the bathroom, and I might step on my glasses.

I found the glasses in the next morning.
Both the legs of the glasses were bent but not broken.
And I tried to repair the bending legs, then the legs were broken.
I accidentally cut parts of joints made of metal.

Soon I ordered new glasses; however, it will come next week.
From the morning, I have not been able to focus on everything except for using contact lenses.
It will have been awkward until new glasses will come.
It makes eye strain so much.

In recent days, I have migraines, and I think the eye strain causes them.
I knew drinking makes migraines.

drank much

I drank too much yesterday with goodsun, eno, and gallon akagawa in a Japanese small restaurant, and I do not remember after drinking a glass of the last bottle.
This Monday, I will look at the restaurant again to know something I do not remember.

stayed in Kyoto

I had a two-day business trip to attend a conference in Kyoto.
The conference was good. I was satisfied with it.

When I arrived in Kyoto, I was surprised about a good smoking manner. No one smoked in the smoking-free area.
Many people tend to say it is a normal thing; however, it is not real. In all the places that I stayed in Japan except for Kyoto, I saw a few people smoked in smoking-free areas. I saw a person smoked in front of a flag of smoking-free in Akihabara as a funny case. People probably seem to believe that the bad thing is allowed if many people do that. In contrast, people in Kyoto have good pride and care about what people think. So, Kyoto keeps a good atmosphere and a beautiful appearance. Until this trip, I did not realize that Kyoto culture is surpassing beautiful.

Next, I had a bowl of ramen of tentenyu. I ordered additional slices of pork as a dinner. That was made of good noodles, chicken-based white soup, and slices of soft-cooked pork. The combination of them was excellent like a selected wine and cheese. The photo is here.

About the conference that I said first, I got effective information for my research and some reactions to my project. Thanks to Bickel, I knew the pronunciation of "alinement". It was different from the pronunciation that I remember a stress position. I realized I have to study pronunciation more.

After the conference, I went to the Gyoen. That was a wide, clean, natural, beautiful place.

I had some good experiences in Kyoto.

何にもないわけじゃなかった

今朝、最近何にもないなと思っていたけど、きょう一日を振り返っても、外に言えるような内容がないということがわかった。
何かは必ず面白いことが起こるのだけど、言えなさすぎる。

ちっさいことだけど、電車乗っていたら、コントのように飛び乗った男性の観光客がいて、でっかいスーツケースをもって走っていたためか、ぶへぇぶへぇと呼吸をして、何語かわからない言葉で話すたびに、ぶじぇぇへっぇと咳をする、これぞ駄目な観光客！という人を見かけた。電車のほとんどの人が迷惑そうに見ていたけど、私だけはずっとスマイルだった。

それにしてもあれだな、何もない日々

人と話すにしても何もない日々が多すぎて、異常なんじゃないかと思い始めました。
過去を振り返ってみると、週に一度くらいは、XXに食べに行ったとか、OOをした、のように何かしら新しい体験をしているのですが、最近は、ルーチン化していて、あるのは、昨日より仕事が忙しいとかそういうつまらんことだけになりました。
ニュースがない日々はやばいので、新しいことやるようにして、メモしていきます。
